Bingo is a game of chance where players try to match the numbers on their bingo card to those that are called by the bingo caller. The object of the game is to match all of the numbers in a row, column, specific pattern or the entire bingo card to the ones that the bingo caller lists. There are three types of bingo games that are the most popular. These games are 30 ball bingo, 75 ball bingo and 90 ball bingo.
90 ball bingo is the most popular form of bingo in the UK. 90 ball bingo is played with bingo cards that are comprised of three horizontal lines and nine columns. Each column has ten numbers starting with 1 through 10 in the left most column and ending with 80 through 90 in the right most column. Prizes are awarded for players that complete one line, two lines or a “full house” which is done by filling in your entire bingo card. The prize associated with the “full house” is always the largest. If there is ever more than one winner for a prize that prize will be split among all of the players.
90 ball bingo is one of the most popular pastimes of people living in the UK and Europe. With the easy to follow game rules and large prizes it is easy to see why the exciting game of bingo is so popular in Europe.
